This two CD compilation of rappers you know and love labels one disc Old Timers and the other New Comers.

Neither is very accurate since there is a little Sugarhill and Funkmaster Flex on the first disc, and Gravediggaz and Jungle Brothers on the second. That said the selection of tracks is not cliche? and is generally first rate. Ideal for parties and a nice compilation for DJ?s to play with.

From Planet Rock to Dan the Automator and Kool Keith doing a great version of King of NY, there?s no fluff and a very French way of seeing the history of Hip Hop. Go on you headbangers.
