This former grade school teacher teams up with the the Likwit crew of Alkaholics fame for some trancy head bobbing old school West Coast flava. The atmosphere never gets as silly as the Alkys can get, nor does Defari slip into hyper-violent paranoia and hopeless bragging. A well produced debut but leaves open which direction the reluctant teacher will take next. This may be the first LA rapper to try to drop east coast science, he wears the Lakers jersey on the cover for insurance.
