You most likely succumbed to the infectious grooves of Smash Mouth's 1997 ubiquitous, retro-sounding single "Walkin' On The Sun", from the band's sophomore album Fush Yu Mang. That record's follow-up, Astro Lounge, is a clear indicator that the single was no fluke, and that this band of California pop rockers is hardly a one-hit wonder. A handful of Astro Lounge's 15 tunes have the words "instant hit"written all over them. The album expands on the retro, loungey style of the band's big hit, but its mellow grooves won't impede the stampede of beanbags from picking it up stateside, don't make the same mistake, unless you are filthy rich (and own your own beach).
