Erobique is a well known German Moog freak who crafts groovy and occasionally epic jazzy downbeat floorfillers.

This is a compilation of the singles he has released over the past few years and is his first international release. Cool disco strings and driving funk basslines ala Bassment Jaxx but mellower are the flavor of the early singles, and some driving farfisa organ and delightful sequencing work highlight most of this beguiling LP. The influences here are French, rigid and German as well as Jazzy, and it's something that feels like you haven't heard before.

The momentary feeling of cheesiness can be written off due to the tones that the moog can sometimes produce. You can imagine this in the K and D record collection somewhere and that's a compliment.

Lots of listening pleasures.
