BUSTA RHYMES Extinction Level Event

Prophets of doom don't get more fun loving than Busta. Musical contrasts fuel Extinction. His party flow mixes with horror movie strings on the Gimme Some More single, and rasta inflected rhymes get lost in No Limits style beats. 19 tracks may be a little many, making the result slightly underwhelming. It could have been a lean machine but still is a heavyweight powerful but slow moving. It is still his most satisfying album ever and far ahead of the aimless efforts of most of his peers.
