"I'm Not Dead!" screams the infamous Alecia Moore, better known as the spunky Pink who brought us club hits like Get The Party Started and Lady Marmalade. She'll be back with her 4th album in April, with her signature blend of rock, soul and funk while attempting to debunk the superficiality of pop culture with her brand of satire.
News has it that her first video off this release will take a jab at "the cult of exercise-obsessed, calorie fearing, breast-augmented human Barbie dolls". Geez, that sounds like music to the ears of jaded listeners, sick and tired of safe pop. Besides showcasing her singing and songwriting skills, this makes for a personal scrapbook on where she's been and headed, including recently marrying her longtime boyfriend, motocross legend Carey Hart in a small, secluded ceremony in Costa Rica.
