Back to nature and weeds and trees and away from the dirty city to catch some fresh air. It's not that simple. Besides the wonder of the world of course, doomed relationships and "f*ck-ups" litter the scenery, people die, while the oddly-titled 'I Love Life' is a particularly gruesome rite of passage, beginning with the lines "Mum and Dad have sentenced you to death". There you have it, the complete Brit pop come down, and for the most part it's a journey Pulp can take you on better than most. A dark surprise.
