SINGLES: Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Elvis

That Elvis track is everywhere, so much so I feel like it must have been on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. This is the Junkie XL remix version and although the track is not really altered but rather equalized for the modern hifi, it's not so necessary. That it precludes a David Holmes produced and compiled double disc set of Elvis remixes slated for fall release is news worthy however! The lack of Red Hot versatility has been their disease the last few years. The California of your dream no longer exists or is sentimentalized by anyone. The rather chunky funk section shows promise, but relying on shlocky lyrics referring to the 'show' meaning our concert is stadium crud that Foreigner did better somehow a quarter century ago.
